Baltic Cruising Part 4: Copenhagen

One cannot see everything in a short time period. We certainly did not. Copenhagen has a lot of canals, but I realized I had no canal photos once back home. Oh well; watch a Rick Steves travel show if you want canals.

Could not get the name of the vessel or any info on her. No matter, she is a well kept and fine looking ship.

Gefion Fountain, depicting Norse goddess Gefion plowing the sea with 4 oxen.

St Albans' Anglican, aka the church of England. In Copenhagen. The Episcopal church is the US version.

Looking down Amaligade to Amalienborg square, with the bronze cast equestrian statue of King Frederik V.

Christian VII's Palace. The girlie says it will do for a nice smaller retreat.

Frederik's Church, just a block away

What was said to be a 20 minute walk from the ship was a lot further. Once we got to Tivoli Gardens, getting the correct Viator ticket took visits to 3 different ticket offices. A bit exasperating, but we were successful. Tivoli Gardens is a 19th-century amusement park with live entertainment.

This may every little girls' dream. Being on stage in a fairy tale.

Later that day, back at sea. The Baltic Sea was calm & the view endless.

Around the ship were old 60s photos of models. Very cool layout of style and time.

Up next: Tallinn, Estonia and then on to 3 days in St. Petersburg, Russia.
