Baltic Cruising Part 2: Brussels, Belgium

We docked in Antwerp just as the sun was setting. Sorta. On this trip the sun never fully went away & night as we normally know it did not happen. Hence the term "White Nights".

The wind turbines continued their steady flow of power

 What the . . . ??? It's the Atomium. Constructed for the 1958 Brussels World's Fair.

 Brussels street scene

The streets were clean and neat

The Brussels market square. Each building is a Guild House. Here the professionals of various trades formed their alliances and made their fortunes.

 Tourist photos time!

 Selfie!

Then there was the architecture

We can't do this on an empty tummy. Time for food & drink.

Le Roy, aka Re Restaurant for our food & drink.

 This girl has chocolate! Happy!

And even more of the architecture

Up next we'll transit the Kiel Canal & make our way into the Baltic Sea heading for Copenhagen, Tallinn and St. Petersburg, Russia.
